## Overview

Arbitrum's 2026 roadmap sketches three confidentiality models, and its own FAQ confirms network-level confidential execution is not live yet, with the Arbitrum One variant subject to a DAO vote. Today privacy is app layer: Railgun and Fluidkey, plus Renegade's dark pool for matching. Hinkal was exploited for roughly $820,000 in July 2026 and has its contracts paused pending investigation, so it is not a live option right now. This is also where we run our benchmarks: 15,000 private ERC-20 transfers in July 2026, around 500 confidential transactions per second sustained and 750 at peak, measured end to end including chain confirmation.
