Nillion: Blind-compute network. Technology: garbled-circuit MPC.
Nillion is building blind compute: a network where data is split across nodes and operated on while it stays encrypted. It targets storage and AI workloads rather than another smart-contract chain, which is a corner of the problem almost nobody else is working on. It mixes MPC, homomorphic encryption and trusted hardware and lets each module use the technique that actually fits it, an unusually pragmatic piece of engineering that also gives each module its own trust model to reason about. The token has been volatile since launch, including a sharp fall when a market maker sold without authorization.

What is garbled-circuit mpc?
Several parties jointly evaluate a function over encrypted inputs using garbled circuits and secret sharing, so no single party ever holds the plaintext.
How it compares with the other approaches on latency, trust assumptions and fit is set out, with sources, in the technology taxonomy.
